Glad to hear you’re okay Sam. When I first read your post I was worried. After rereading several times and talking with your mother, my only comment is “Stay in good health”.

It was great to get your recent post, Sam. It is fun and interesting to hear about what you are doing and experiencing. I hope that you are able to journal or somehow document your daily experiences – even what becomes common place or mundane – as it will be difficult to recall it all later. Are you getting lots of photos with your new camera?
I am so glad that you have (and took advantage of) the opportunity to do this. And I am very happy that the people of Zambia have such a capable, intelligent, sensible, hard-working, Godly man to learn from!

We miss you and love you, Sam! Blessings, Aunt Geri and the Meadowbrook Clan

PS – What was that food being served in the recent photo where you commented on “lots of delicious food”?

What was the food? The food at the 50th celebration was delicious! I’ve already told you! Let’s see if I can remember, it wasn’t traditional Zambian food. There were sausages cut into short lengths, toothpicks stuck with alternating pineapple and ham (I think), little warm rolls with cheese on top (almost like a mini pizza), breaded chicken, some other cut of meat (beef I think), potato wedges and sugar cookies. That’s what I can remember anyway. Also ice cold sodas and water to stay hydrated.
